AGR is committed to helping students achieve their academic dreams through an array of scholarship and grant options, both for members and non-members. Over $40,000 is awarded annually.
Alpha Gamma Rho (AGR) offers many scholarship opportunities. Annually, the Iota Education Foundation coordinates $40,000 in scholarships and support for collegiate students at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. There are two ways to apply for an Alpha Gamma Rho-Iota chapter for students at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and incoming students.
Every Spring, Alpha Gamma Rho hosts an event for incoming students called The Competitive Edge. Incoming students can apply for one of four scholarships. Sign up below and we'll notify you about the next event.

Organized and sponsored by AGR, the Competitive Edge Scholarship Program gathers resources across campus for current students specifically for incoming students. It’s an opportunity to meet faculty and advisors, learn about student organizations and campus resources, connect with incoming students and ask any questions about the transition to the University of Wisconsin-Madison. It’s the Competitive Edge.
