Kaedyn Peterson-Rucker

Hello everyone, my name is Kaedyn Peterson-Rucker. I grew up in Pine Island Minnesota, and was involved in football, track, trap, band, FFA, and 4-H showing sheep. Currently I am aJunior studying Biological Systems Engineer - Machinery Systems. On campus, I am involved in the Quarter Scale Tractor Team and the American Society forAgricultural and Biological Engineers. Some of my other interests include camping, fishing, golfing, and relaxing with friends.

I am currently serving as the Finance Officer for AGR. My duties for this role include collecting dues, creating a budget, managing accounts payable, turning in taxes, and reconciling accounts. Some of the tools that I use and the skills that I am developing include using quickbooks and working with an accountant to run our payroll.

Through the Quarter Scale Tractor Team, I was introduced to a number of guys who were in AGR. After getting to know them and realizing how much I enjoyed being around other guys who were connected to agriculture. After coming over for supper a few times, I knew that I was going to enjoy being involved with AGR and that I would develop myself professionally as well. Through AGR I have become a better leader. After attending multiple leadership conferences, I had the opportunity to put the things that I learned into practice with my officer position. Some of my favorite AGR memories have been the national BBQ contest in Kentucky, playing sheepshead, going skiing, and swapping stories with brothers during supper.
