Connor Timm

My name is Connor Timm, and I am going to be a sophomore at UW-Madison studying dairy science. I have one year under my belt in AGR, I am from Menasha, WI, and I love sports, especially baseball. I am currently a member of the Badger Dairy Club at UW as well. I joined AGR last year because I interviewed for our Competitive Edge scholarship, and after that, I was very interested in joining.

Since then, I have gained many friendships, opportunities, scholarships, and memories, and with three more years left in college, I am sure that many more of those will come. One of my favorite AGR memories from last year was the Milwaukee Brewers game that we all went to in the fall. At this point, I was very new to everyone in AGR as I had not been initiated yet, so being able to get to know the guys more, while also being able to go to a Brewers game and watch something that I enjoy, is one of my favorite memories from my short college career.

For any incoming freshman that might be considering joining AGR, I would just go for it. Before the Competitive Edge scholarship interview, I had no intention on joining AGR, or any fraternity for that matter, but now, I would say that joining the brotherhood that is AGR has been one of the best decisions of my life, and I encourage any incoming freshman to do so as well.
